13 must be Bath's lucky number: they beat Carson City-Crystal with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Fighting Bees' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 13-0 shutout. Considering the Fighting Bees have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Bath is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Carson City-Crystal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Looking ahead, Bath will head out on the road to square off against Perry at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Ramblers will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Fighting Bees surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carson City-Crystal, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Lakeview on the 17th.
