The Southeastern Christian Academy Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Lee Christian Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lee Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Southeastern Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.
Last Thursday, Southeastern Christian Academy took their contest with ease, bagging a 47-11 win over Liberty Christian Academy. That looming 47-11 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Southeastern Christian Academy found their leader in freshman Angelina Lauver, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards. With that strong performance, Lauver is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game. Elizabeth Dickerson was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to seven assists and three steals.
Southeastern Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Lee Christian played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 49-20 loss at the hands of Sandhills Classical Christian. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, Lee Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kendall Craven posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Craven is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Madison Mashburn, who had four points and five steals.
Lee Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Southeastern Christian Academy has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 26.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Lee Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
