Basketball Recap: Torrance Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Torrance hadn't done well against El Segundo recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Torrance Tartars walked away with a 53-43 win over the El Segundo Eagles. For the Tartars, this counts as revenge for the 62-43 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Torrance's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for El Segundo, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Torrance will head out to take on Monrovia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monrovia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.1 points per game this season. As for El Segundo, they will be home for the holidays to greet Los Amigos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
