Valley View is 1-6 against McAllen Memorial since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Valley View Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the McAllen Memorial Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. Valley View comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Tuesday, Valley View took a serious blow against Sharyland, falling 55-21. Valley View has not had much luck with Sharyland recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, McAllen Memorial came up short against Pioneer on Tuesday and fell 44-31.
Valley View bumped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for McAllen Memorial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.
Valley View was dealt a bruising 48-10 loss at the hands of McAllen Memorial in their previous meeting back in January. Can Valley View avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
