 In other batting news, Hough let  Maylee Stroupe and  Madden McMahan-waters loose on the outfield. Stroupe  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2, while  McMahan-waters  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Olivia Jenkins, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Harding University dropped their record down to 0-9 with that  defeat, which was their tenth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Hough, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season.
