Nordonia will face off against Archbishop Hoban at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Nordonia's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home while Archbishop Hoban has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, Nordonia didn't have quite enough to beat Hudson and fell 3-2.

Despite the defeat, Nordonia had strong showings from Zac Fernandez, who had eight digs and one block, and Ej Sopata, who had 43 kills, four aces, three digs, and one block. Fernandez is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 44 games he's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Archbishop Hoban came up short against Howland on Wednesday and fell 3-1. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-21 in the first set.
Archbishop Hoban started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-16.
Archbishop Hoban's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Nordonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.
