The Elmwood Park Crusaders were just a bucket shy of a victory this past Saturday and fell 59-58 to the NV - Demarest Norsemen. Elmwood Park's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
The loss dropped Elmwood Park's record to 12-7. Demarest's win brought them up to 9-12.
The Crusaders will square off against Eastern Christian on Tuesday. Elmwood Park won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for Demarest, they will go up against River Dell on Tuesday. The odds don't look promising for Demarest, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
