After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dysart, The Page Sand Devils were happy to have found some success on Friday. They put the hurt on Winslow with a sharp 28-7 victory. The result was nothing new for Page, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
The critical scores for Page came from Connor Peterson and Tyree Stingley.
Page is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Winslow, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Page will take on Chinle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chinle comes in on a streak of failing to score more than eight points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Winslow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monument Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Monument Valley is ranked 158th, while Winslow is ranked 140th).
