Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bountiful walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Clearfield Falcons 56-6. The Redhawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bountiful to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Carter Brooks, who rushed for 99 yards and one  touchdown on only nine carries, and also caught one  score. Those  99  rushing yards gave  Brooks a new career-high.  Ivan Davis did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88  receiving yards.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bountiful was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 255  rushing yards. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they've run for more than 200 yards.
 Bountiful didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Will Smoot and  Dawson Allsop.
Bountiful now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Clearfield, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record  this season.
 Bountiful will face off against West Jordan on Friday. Clearfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
