If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Bishop Garrigan. On Friday they will take on Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire at 7:00 PM. Bishop Garrigan don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Bishop Garrigan might be getting used to good results now that the team has eight wins in a row. They made easy work of West Fork last Friday and carried off a 57-26 win. With Bishop Garrigan ahead 43-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire took a serious blow against West Hancock, falling 0-41. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire.
Bishop Garrigan's victory lifted them to 8-0 while Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire's loss dropped them down to 2-6. We'll find out if Bishop Garrigan can add another positive mark to their record or if Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Bishop Garrigan's step.
