Derek Keeley Delivers Electric Performance Vs Granite Bay
Starting off the list is Rocklin's Derek Keeley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Keeley rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown. Those 142 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
If history really does repeat itself, Keeley might just drop another big game when he faces off against Del Oro on Friday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Keeley saw the Golden Eagles), he rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

Jack Patock Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Jesuit got the W thanks in part to Jack Patock playing the best football he has all season. Patock rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Patock and Jesuit will take on Folsom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Patock will face off against Daymion Rivera, the Bulldogs' star rusher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Big Game from Merino As Rocklin Won 35-21
The second Rocklin player making an appearance here is Rafi Merino, and for good reason. He rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
This year, Merino has run in 13 touchdowns while averaging 87.4 rushing yards per game.

Ryder Lyons Goes Supernova in Folsom Win
Ryder Lyons was instrumental in extending Folsom's winning streak to six on Friday. Lyons did his part (and then some), throwing for 171 yards and five touchdowns for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for five or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Whitney, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Lyons. When Lyons last faced the Wildcats back in October of 2023, he threw for 267 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards.

A Season-Best Effort from Darnell Turner Jr. Leads Granite Bay over Rocklin
On Friday, Granite Bay had to settle for second even though Darnell Turner Jr. put up the best numbers he has all season. Turner Jr. picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Granite Bay's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. Turner Jr. and Granite Bay will be playing in front of their home fans against Davis Sr. at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
