Jason Todd Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Mobile Christian's Jason Todd, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Todd made 14 total tackles.
With the victory, Mobile Christian broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. Todd and Mobile Christian are taking a road trip to square off against W.S. Neal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Landon Duckworth's big game helped extend Jackson's winning streak to eight on Friday. Jackson picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Ezavier Crowell. Nobody could stop Crowell as he rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 64 yards.
Crowell is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Satsuma on Friday. When Crowell last faced the Gators back in October of 2023, he rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Gunner Rivers came into the game on a mission. Nobody could stop he as he threw for 360 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Rivers is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Orange Beach on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Rivers saw the Makos), he threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also caught a touchdown.
