Oswego blew Cedar Vale/Dexter out of the water the last time the pair played, but  on Friday Cedar Vale/Dexter got their revenge. The Indians fell just short of the Spartans by a score of  88-86. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Friday (74), the Indians still had to take the loss.
 Special teams was a major factor in the game for Oswego, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Demitri Williamson, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown. Another bright spot was a punt return touchdown from  him.
 Leading Cedar Vale/Dexter to victory were  Royce Potter and  Cooper Criss.  Potter rushed for 193 yards and six  touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, while  Criss rushed for 123 yards and a pair of  TDs. Those  193  rushing yards gave  Potter a new career-high.  Wyatt Martin was in the mix  as well, providing Cedar Vale/Dexter with two scores.

Oswego moved to 5-2 with that  loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
 Coming up, Oswego will challenge Sedan at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Devils have now posted at least 31  points  in their last three matchups. Cedar Vale/Dexter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
