Adding to the longest winning streak in 4A District 2 this week, Neville beat Wossman 48-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Tigers.

Bastrop's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Christian Doaty threw for 226 yards and Jamari Payne had 148 yards receiving. On the ground Antwon Green contributed 53 yards. Isaiah Graham helped Bastrop's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 48 yards.

Bastrop's Doaty and Payne led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Doaty has thrown for 1,583 yards this season, while Payne has 48 catches for 793 yards. Ladarrius Thomas from Wossman leads the league in rushing with 353 yards.
Two of the top units in 4A District 2 will face off this week when Thomas Bachman's team takes on Mickey Mccarty's team. The Rams' offense has recorded 253 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Tigers have permitted only 88 on the year.
Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when Bastrop's Payne goes up against Neville's Anterrius Butler.
Next week's game between the Rams and the Tigers will feature a good passing match up as Doaty will test his arm against Butler's defensive ability.
