The Booker Kiowas won the last time they faced the Stratford Elks, and things went their way on Friday too. Booker came out on top in a nail-biter against the Elks and snuck past 47-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Booker.
Booker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hagen Chisum, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Aguilera, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Booker's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Stratford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Booker will head out on the road to challenge the Comanches at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stratford, they will be playing at home against the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
