When it comes to explaining why Altamont lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ashton Arnold. Despite the final result, he scored nine points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Thatcher Rust, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
Altamont dropped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Manila, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.
