After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Florida State University High School, Maclay was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   2-0  win over the Franklin County Seahawks.
 Kate Hartmann paced Maclay's offense, picking up six kills. Hartmann got some help from  Finley Cutcliffe and her ten assists. Cutcliffe also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Addison Davis, racking up three apiece.
Maclay is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record  this season. As for Franklin County,  with the  defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4.
 Maclay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  victory against Wakulla Christian School on the 13th. As for Franklin County, they will face off against Liberty County at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
