Healdton was led to victory by Jamiel Franklin and Preston Wolf. Franklin scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds, while Wolf scored 14 points along with 3 steals. The match was Wolf's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Ellis, who scored 6 points.
Healdton's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Springer, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Healdton will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Springer, they will head out on the road to face off against Ryan at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
