The Elizabethtown Panthers are on the road again  on Monday to play the Nelson County Cardinals at 5:30  p.m. Elizabethtown will be strutting in after a  win while Nelson County will be coming in after a  loss.
 Elizabethtown can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Thursday. They blew past John Hardin 13-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Elizabethtown considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
  Ryan Bowen and  Reed Sherrard did most of the damage at the plate:  Bowen  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3, while  Sherrard  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and a  triple.  Jake Williams was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 11  runs the game before, Nelson County was a bit more limited  in their  game  on Thursday. They lost  12-2 to Bethlehem.
 Nelson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cam Geoghegan, who  went 1-for-3 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Elizabethtown's victory  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 11-12. As for Nelson County, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-10.
 Elizabethtown was able to grind out a solid  win over Nelson County in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023, winning  8-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Elizabethtown since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
