After a string of three wins, the St. Regis Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Two Eagle River by a score of 45-43. St. Regis was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Two Eagle River apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Jabez Madplume, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds for Two Eagle River. Another player making a difference was Talon Addison, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
St. Regis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Two Eagle River, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
St. Regis on the road again on Thursday and play against Hot Springs at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Two Eagle River, they will be playing at home against Heart Butte at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
