The North Muskegon Norsemen put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They skirted past Lawton 27-24. 27 seems to be a good number for North Muskegon as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
James Young went supernova for North Muskegon, throwing for 260 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Christensen, who picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown.
North Muskegon's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 11-0. As for Lawton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.
North Muskegon will stay at home for another week and welcome Pewamo-Westphalia at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Pewamo-Westphalia has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 220 points over their last five matchups. Lawton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
