There's no place like home for Bear Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Weston Ranch Cougars on Monday as they made off with a 17-0 win. Considering the Bruins have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Eriawn Cannon was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jocelynn Greenlee, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

Bear Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Weston Ranch only posted an OBP of .167.

The victory snapped Bear Creek's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-4 record. As for Weston Ranch, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Bear Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 win against McNair on the 6th. As for Weston Ranch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-1 loss against Tokay on the 6th.
