The Horizon Science Academy Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cristo Rey 99-50 on the road. That 49 points margin sets a new team best for Horizon Science Academy this season.
Horizon Science Academy was led to victory by Solaiman Jalloh and Roland Kargbo. Jalloh scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Kargbo scored 20 points along with five assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kargbo has scored all season. Regan Shozi was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Horizon Science Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-9. As for Cristo Rey, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Horizon Science Academy will be playing at home against KIPP Columbus at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cristo Rey, they will head out on the road to face off against Patriot Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
