The Lewis Lancers lost against the Park View Patriots back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Lewis fell to Park View 41-37. Lewis has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Anna Helstrom, who scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds for Park View. That makes it two consecutive games in which Helstrom has scored at least 25% of Park View's points. Another player making a difference was Carly Earnhart, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Lewis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Park View, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Lewis will head out on the road to face off against Oakton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Park View, they will be playing at home against Manassas Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Manassas Park is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
