The Leetonia Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Heartland Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leetonia is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 22-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Leetonia was beaten by Columbiana 69-20. Leetonia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-9.
Cameron Roller put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Heartland Christian pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Valley Christian on the road by a decisive 80-66 margin.
Leetonia has not been sharp recently as the team has lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season. As for Heartland Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
Leetonia was taken down by Heartland Christian 74-38 in their previous matchup back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Leetonia was down 48-24.
