After flying high against the Robstown Cottonpickers last Wednesday, the Harmony School of Excellence Hawks came back down to earth. Harmony School of Excellence was dealt a 80-50 defeat at the hands of Alice on Wednesday. Harmony School of Excellence was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-18.
Alejandro Asevedo was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with four steals for Alice. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Asevedo has scored all season. Calvin Villanueva was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Harmony School of Excellence dropped their record down to 9-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Alice, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Tuloso-Midway the next time they take the court. Harmony School of Excellence will head out to face Tuloso-Midway at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Alice will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
