The Hudson Cobras suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Nature Coast Tech 56-19. Hudson has struggled against Nature Coast Tech recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Grace Rutherford was Hudson's leading scorer, having posted six points. Rutherford also led the team in rebounds with eight.
Cassie Dejesus took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Hudson's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.3 points per game. As for Nature Coast Tech, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hudson and Zephyrhills will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Nature Coast Tech, they will be playing at home against Lecanto at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
