The Westhill Vikings will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Lauralton Hall Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Even though Westhill has not done well against Greenwich recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Westhill walked away with a 65-56 victory over Greenwich. The win made it back-to-back wins for Westhill.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Lauralton Hall, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 80-65 loss to Hillhouse on Friday. Lauralton Hall has not had much luck with Hillhouse recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Westhill's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lauralton Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Westhill skirted past Lauralton Hall 44-42 when the teams last played back in December of 2021. Does Westhill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lauralton Hall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
