The Linsly Cadets will head out on the road to face off against the Harrison Central Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Linsly waltzed into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins dating back to last season but they left with six. They walked away with a 57-47 victory over Austintown-Fitch.
Meanwhile, Harrison Central entered their tilt with Carrollton with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Harrison Central took down Carrollton 60-45 on Tuesday.
Linsly pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Harrison Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Linsly and Harrison Central were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2018, but Linsly came up empty-handed after a 70-69 defeat. Can Linsly avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
