Luke Sword made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Sword wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Kilgus, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
