The Russellville Indians lost against the St. Elizabeth Hornets back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Russellville fell 62-53 to St. Elizabeth. Russellville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gavin Williams was on fire for St. Elizabeth: he dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carter Otto, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds.
Russellville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Elizabeth, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Russellville will head out on the road to face off against Belle at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for St. Elizabeth, they will face off against Southern Boone at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
