Last Tuesday, it was a hard-fought match, but Lindale had to settle for a 4-3 loss against Chapel Hill.
Meanwhile, Grand Saline didn't have quite enough to beat Cumberland Academy on Tuesday and fell 2-1.
Lindale's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Grand Saline, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.
Lindale took their win against Grand Saline when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Lindale repeat their success, or does Grand Saline have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
