It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Troy had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Whitewater Whippets with a sharp  3-0 victory. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Whippets recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  win against them.
 One reason for the win was East Troy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15,  25-10.
Among those leading the charge was   Carli Murphy, who  had 16  digs and two  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 16 or more in each of the last three games she's  played.

 Murphy wasn't the only good servers: East Troy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 15  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 12 consecutive  matchups.
East Troy's victory bumped their record up to 21-17. As for Whitewater,  they are  on  a  13-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-22.
 Looking ahead, East Troy is taking a road trip to  challenge Lake Mills  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Whitewater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
