Newcastle has not had much luck with Belle Fourche recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Belle Fourche's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jet Jensen, who scored 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jensen has scored at least 25% of Belle Fourche's points. Another player making a difference was Nolan Wahlfeldt, who scored 16 points along with seven steals.
Newcastle's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-5. As for Belle Fourche, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Newcastle will be home for the holidays to greet Wright at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wright has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 602 points over their last eight matchups. As for Belle Fourche, they will head out on the road to face off against Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
