Andrews is 9-1 against Pecos since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Andrews' favor as the team sits on 13 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Pecos has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

The Mustangs beat Greenwood on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-3. Considering the Mustangs have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Arianna Sanchez, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Noemi Ortiz was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Andrews always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Pecos suffered their closest loss since February 15, 2025 last Tuesday. They fell just short of Alpine by a score of 5-3.
Carriz Hernandez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Carysa Campos, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Andrews' win bumped their record up to 17-7. As for Pecos, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Andrews has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. However, it's not like Pecos struggles in that department as they've averaged .467. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
