Baseball Recap: Mission Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Mission won against Martin on Tuesday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Mission Eagles beat the Martin Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-3. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Mission pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Martin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mission will square off against Mission Veterans Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Martin, they will challenge Cigarroa at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
