She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Miley Malcolm was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Legion Collegiate Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gray Collegiate Academy. The match was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but Legion Collegiate Academy was outscored by Gray Collegiate Academy in the second.
Despite the defeat, Legion Collegiate Academy saw an underclassman step up: Jaylen McMurray scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Porter Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
