There's no place like home for the Burlington Township Falcons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 50-42 victory over Gloucester Catholic on Sunday.
Burlington Township's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quayd Hendryx, who scored 19 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hendryx has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Ferguson, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Burlington Township is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Gloucester Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
Burlington Township won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Red Devils at 5:15 p.m. on February 5th. As for Gloucester Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Salem knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully the Rams like a good challenge.
