Hemingway is 2-7 against the Wolverines since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hemingway Tigers will play host again and welcome the East Clarendon Wolverines, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Hemingway comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 56-23, which was the final score in Hemingway's tilt against the Eagles on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, East Clarendon unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 55-36 bruising from Carvers Bay. East Clarendon has struggled against the Bears recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Hemingway dropped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for East Clarendon, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4.
Hemingway was taken down by the Wolverines 67-13 when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of East Clarendon's Courtney McFadden, who scored three points along with 34 steals. Now that Hemingway knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
