After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The Nueva School, the Mountain View Academy Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Mid-Peninsula by a score of 53-40. That's another feather in the cap for Mountain View Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Mountain View Academy was led to victory by Ricardo Malo and Daniel Malo. Malo scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals, while Malo scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Brennan Marques, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Mountain View Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mid-Peninsula, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Mountain View Academy will head out on the road to face off against More at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mid-Peninsula, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Apostles Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Apostles Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Monday.
