With 23 teams at the same position as last week, not much has changed in the power rankings this week -- but there was still plenty of gameday excitement. A special shoutout goes to Fayetteville's senior Darius Bowers, who scored six total touchdowns in the team's most recent match.
Can't Touch This
Fayetteville got a 45 - 17 win over Catholic last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Darius Bowers. Bowers threw for 306 yards and five touchdowns. In fact, our algorithms singled out Bowers as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.

It was a battle of top-notch squads when Southside (12th in the power rankings) took on Springdale (21st) last week. Southside got a somewhat close 35 - 28 victory over Springdale. Despite the outcome, neither team improved or gave up its position in the power rankings.
Can't Stop Won't Stop
Harrison has been an offensive powerhouse for three straight weeks after the team lit up the scoreboard again last week. The final score between it and White Hall was a 49 - 7 blowout in Harrison's favor. Harrison did have the odds in its favor, but the team did even better than the MaxPreps state rankings indicated. With 11 consecutive wins, Harrison boasts the longest winning streak of any team in the rankings.
No Stoppin 'Em
The match between Searcy and Siloam Springs last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 91 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. Searcy snuck past Siloam Springs with a 49 - 42 victory. Searcy especially relied on senior Tony Young, who rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns, and senior Peyton Wright, who tossed the ball for 295 yards and four TDs.
