Fountain-Fort Carson kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 51-14 loss at the hands of the Arvada West Wildcats. The Trojans were down 37-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Adrian Symalla was a one-man wrecking crew for Arvada West as he rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 73 receiving yards. Symalla's longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards. Another back making a difference was Jaiden Green, who rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.
Fountain-Fort Carson will face off against Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arvada West, they will square off against Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
