Russellville hasn't had much luck against Fatima recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Indians will host the Comets at 1:00 p.m. Russellville will be strutting in after a win while Fatima will be coming in after a loss.
The home team had won the previous five meetings between Russellville and Tipton, and Russellville kept the tradition alive. The Indians blew past the Cardinals 3-0 on Wednesday.
While Russellville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 26-24.

Among those leading the charge was Paige Calvird, who had 16 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine matches.
Meanwhile, Fatima suffered their biggest defeat since September 25th last Thursday. They lost 3-0 to St. Francis Borgia. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-9.
Despite the defeat, Fatima saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kaylee Berhorst had nine digs and one assist.
Russellville is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8-1 record this season. As for Fatima, their loss dropped their record down to 22-8-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's matchup: Russellville has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 11.8 aces per game. However, it's not like Fatima struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
