Rio Lindo Adventist suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were the victim of a tough 75-50 loss at the hands of Napa Christian. Rio Lindo Adventist has struggled against Napa Christian recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their loss, Rio Lindo Adventist saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jhordany Barcenas, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, was perhaps the best of all. Barcenas hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Campbell, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds.
Summerfield Waldorf has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They enjoyed a cozy 67-53 victory over Trinity Prep on Thursday. 67 seems to be a good number for Summerfield Waldorf as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Rio Lindo Adventist bumped their record down to 4-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Summerfield Waldorf, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
