Tonga Made His Presence Known in Leuzinger's 34-29 Loss
Starting off the list is Leuzinger's Journee Tonga, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tonga rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 95 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Inglewood's probably not too fond of Tonga given he always seems to get the better of them. When Tonga last faced the Sentinels back in October of 2023, he rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.

Seth Shigg and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Seth Shigg was instrumental in extending Culver City's winning streak to five on Friday. Shigg was dynamite, rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 279 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt.
Culver City's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Shigg will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Mira Costa on Friday.

Kingston Tisdell Delivers Electric Performance Vs Leuzinger
Kingston Tisdell was instrumental in extending Inglewood's winning streak to six on Friday. Leuzinger had no answer to Tisdell as he threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.9 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Tisdell's passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 305 passing yards.
Inglewood pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Their road trip will continue as they head out to face Lawndale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Andre Nickerson Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Inglewood got the W thanks in part to Andre Nickerson playing the best football he has all season. Nickerson picked up 204 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards.
On the season, Nickerson has caught 8 touchdowns while averaging 85.3 receiving yards per game.
