Silver Lake extended the longest winning streak in 6-Man East (6 Man) this week by beating Elkhorn Valley, 49-7. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Mustangs.
Silver Lake took down the Falcons 49-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Arcadia's dynamic duo of Cohen Lewandowski and Robert Ritz proved to be unstoppable against Holy Family, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lewandowski threw for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns and Ritz had 104 yards receiving. Zach Lueck helped Arcadia's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 55 yards.
The Huskies' dynamic duo of Lewandowski and Ritz proved tough for the Bulldogs to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Austin Miller provided a threat through the air and on the ground as St. Edward topped Walthill. He completed 2 passes for 25 yards and also ran for 223 yards. Miller's favorite target this week was Blake Merrell, who caught 2 passes for 25 yards.
Miller was the best running back in the league this week. Jason Osantowski also contributed to the rushing game with 41 yards on the ground.
Miller was a force in the backfield as the Beavers beat the Bluejays.
Ritz was the best wideout in the league this week as Arcadia defeated Holy Family.
Lewandowski put up the best numbers through the air as mike scott's team bested Scott Morrison's team.
The Huskies' Lewandowski and Ritz have formed a dream team this season, leading 6-Man East (6 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Lewandowski has thrown for 410 yards this season, while Ritz, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 10 catches for 134 yards. Miller from St. Edward leads the league in rushing with 515 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Walthill takes on Elkhorn Valley. Glen Randel's team is currently in fifth, while Rusty Rautenberg's team is in second.
Jereme Jones' team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on the Bluejays. Miller in the win.
