Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pembroke Pines Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adon Hollinshead, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maximo Ortega, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Northeast earned a 60-50 victory over Boyd Anderson on Monday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Northeast.
Pembroke Pines Charter is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Northeast, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Pembroke Pines Charter came up short against Northeast in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, falling 76-71. Can Pembroke Pines Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
