Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Big Sandy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dalton Barnes, who went 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 3 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barnes has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Pierpoint, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds.
Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Big Sandy, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-12.
Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central will square off against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in McEwen's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while the Tigers have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season. Big Sandy will take on the War Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
