Prince of Peace is a perfect 3-0 against Lakehill Prep since February of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Prince of Peace Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Lakehill Prep Warriors at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Prince of Peace has three straight victories, Lakehill Prep has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Prince of Peace took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Coram Deo Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Prince of Peace narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Coram Deo Academy 4-2. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Tripp Wilcoxson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Karl Claussner, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Kesler Gehan was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lakehill Prep scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Harvest Christian Academy, falling 20-6.

Prince of Peace pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Lakehill Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Prince of Peace took their win against Lakehill Prep when the teams last played on Tuesday by a conclusive 11-1. Will Prince of Peace repeat their success, or does Lakehill Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
