The Milby Buffs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They suffered a tough 5-1 loss at the hands of Carnegie Vanguard. Milby was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Carnegie Vanguard apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Milby's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-4. As for Carnegie Vanguard, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-2.
Milby will head out on the road to challenge Sterling at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carnegie Vanguard, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Waltrip at 4:30 p.m. Carnegie Vanguard will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.
